After the mental breakdown that was Attack On Memory, Dylan Baldi’s Cloud Nothings have returned with their break-neck punk rock on Here And Nowhere Else. Unlike how Attack On Memory was an internal struggle with one’s own demons, Here And Nowhere Else focuses on the demons of others. It is a relationship album, epitomized in the closing track and high point of the album, “I’m Not A Part Of Me”, where Baldi confesses “I’m learning how to be here and nowhere else”. The music reflects the rage that comes with constant break ups and getting back together, with its raving over-driven guitars and pounding drums. However, he still manages to create effortless hooks that make for great sing-a-longs. Cloud Nothings perform with a grace that can only be heard through beer and blown out speakers. -Tyler Asay
